Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,

words that we all know.

We might be only children,

but we will try, you'll see.




We recycle what we use,

separate things and you should too.

Glass and paper plastic tin,

go in your recycle bin.



We must start now wait,

quick or it will be to late.

We can save this planet,

it starts with you and me.

there are so many shades of blue.different tones and different hues.not all  of them are sad though blues reputation is rather bad .the ocean is blue and the sky is too brides carry something when they say i do.say something naughty the sky turns blue.what sort of blue are you. 

Kapiti island myth

How Kapiti Island came to be

Once upon a time there was a little boy who believed there was an island under the water just off waikanae beach which no one could see.This boy always got bullied one day he was so upset he sat at a end of a cliff, what he did not know was that the bully was behind him and pushed him of! The little boy was falling to his death. When he  got to the rocks and the water this big sea snake saved him and gave him an enormous lick on the face, then he started to talk he said that there was an island under the water called kapiti island and when he got back they could lift the island off the sand onto the water. So that is what they did! And the little boy was never bullied again.

Healthy Lunches

Healthy Lunches

Children should eat healthy lunches in school every day.

Firstly, children need to drink milk to make their teeth and bones strong. Some schools provide milk for children and this is an excellent idea.

Secondly, children need to eat fruit and vegetables every day to keep them healthy. Some children do not eat fruit or vegetables and they get sick more often.

Sweets and fizzy drinks should be banned from schools because they rot your teeth.

Finally, if all schools have a rule about healthy lunches children will grow strong and healthy.

pharazyn reserve

In the mourning i got ready for the pharazyn reserve.when i got to school i said hello then i had put my bag away .when i put my bag away i had asked mr corlett if we bring our bags.he said no because we will be back before mourning tea.

ten minutes had past. mr  corlett said come time to go on the bus.so we had went outside and waited in line.the bus arrives when it arrived we got on bus.when we had left i said i will show you my to my friends.i will show you my house. when i did they all went wow my old friend used to live there.

when we had got to the pharazyn reserve we had got of the and said wow because we had not been there before. so then we all had to gather around because this man wanted to talk to us about what we where going to do. when  he had finished telling us he had said ok lets get started so we did. twenty minutes later.we all had finished planting the plants. when we had finished we had went for a walk to sea all the water. when the guy was talking he said oh ok can you see the kupanui kids so then we had to start heading back to wait for the bus.while we where waiting for the bus we had washed our hands. then the bus arrives so then we got on the bus  and went back to school with tumbling tumbs.

This is my first Blog post. This is my first time on the cool  Blog at Waikanae school. At waikanae school in room six we get to sit any where we won't to but at our old school we had to just stay in one spot.
